Author, Curator, and Body Politics activist, Alanna Lockward, (1961-2019) a Berlin based Dominican decolonial catalyst, founded and directed Art Labour Archives, centered on theory, political activism and art. Her interests concerned Caribbean marronage, discursive and mystical legacies, critical race theory, decolonial aesthetics/aesthesis, Blak feminism and womanist ethics.
She is a great friend, a powerful warrior, and will be missed!
